With Sympathy
For tonight's card I decided to try out a technique called Eboss Resist. I noticed that several bloggers were talking about it this week and wanted to check it out. Gina K has a wonderful tutorial over at StampTV. Her tutorials are very detailed and they all follow the same basic outline so you always know what to expect.
So for my card I used the clear butterfly stamp set from Martha Stewart. Then I embossed it and colored it with Distress Inks, Broken China, Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. I really wanted this card to be clean and simple and let the sentiment and butterfly picture do all the talking. I added some ribbon from my scrap bucket. Then I stamped the sentiment, found at Our Daily Bread on the Get Well set, onto the tag.
Thank you so much for looking. Hopefully I'll see ya tomorrow!
