I Miss You! (SSS61 - Inside Out)
Today I have for you a card I did for The Sweet Stop Challenge this week.
The challenge this week is to use the monthly sketch with a spin and a prize! YAY! The prize is a $10 gift certificate to the Sweet 'n Sassy Store and the spin is "Decorate the inside of your card". You can find the sketch here.
I don't have any Sweet Stop images yet so I used one of the Skelekins babies from Bugaboo Stamps found here. These little cuties are just adorable, don't ya think??? I used my Basic Grey paper pad again. Just love those for cards. The flowers are from doodlebug and the ribbon is Basic Grey as well.
Well it's gonna be another scorcher today so I better go get my chores done early. Have a wonderful day!

Congratulations on New Baby Card
I'm doing a quick post before I head off to bed. This is my entry for MOJO 144, and Paper Makeup Stamps #31 challenges this week. I was going to enter it in another challenge that wanted you to use yellow as your theme, but I realized I used the wrong image for that one. But that's where the idea of the colors came from. The paper is from K&Company's Brockfield Paper Pad. I used Momento ink in cocoa to distress all the edges. My image was a freebie from MelJen's Designs. I just love their images! I colored it with my prismacolors, of course. Hope you enjoy it!

Butterfly Tutorial at Imaginisce
Mornin all! I hope it's much cooler at your house than it is at mine! We've been in the upper 90's for over a week now and that doesn't include the humidity. I love the warm weather but this is a bit much for me. Seems like it's early for it too. Usually we don't see this until later in the summer. My garden is coming along beautifully and I'll be able to start canning pickles by early next week - Yay!
So I was bloggin this morning and ran across this tutorial on how to make a rolled butterfly. I know there's tons of butterfly lover's out there so I thought I'd share it. You can find it on Imaginesce Blog here. They also have a video on their new I-Rock Tool here. That is definitely on my wish list!! Come back tomorrow for some new card posts!
I hope ya'll have a wonderful day and stay nice and cool!

Father's Day Card
Good Morning Ladies!! I made this card for my dad for father's day. It's on it's way to him right now. (Got it in the mail late, I know) I'm so bad about that. I figured since I'm enjoying making these cards so much I really should send some to my family. Now I just have to get them finished in time to get in the mail BEFORE their special day! LOL I've always been bad about that.
I scraplifted this idea on scrapbooking.com's gallery. If I could remember where I first saw it I'd give the credit deserved. I changed it up to fit my own style a bit but was happy with the end product. The paper is all from DCWV, the jeweled textured cardstock pack. I just love this cardstock for my base on all my projects. I used my Cricut for most of it. The tags are from Plantin SchoolBook, cut at 2 1/2", The stars are from Celebrations, cut at 3" and the strip across the bottom is from Graphically Speaking. I embossed the red cardstock with swirls and added some black wester letters to the tags. Hope you enjoy this one!

I'm Back!! (FDKOC)
Did ya miss me? I missed myself. I was a bit under the weather and then had a terrible creative block going on. But I'm happy to say that my creative edge is slowly returning. Thank the good Lord for that! Now I just have to keep it up. It's amazing what a little package of treasures in the mail will do to perk up your spirits! Thanks to all of you that sent me well wishes. I really do appreciate it! Now onto today's card post!
I followed "priscillastyles" to her new blog "Crafters Digital Art Center" and was completely blown away. Being a new digi lover I hit the jackpot! I pleasantly surprised to see many of my fav's on there already and really excited to find several new digi artists that I'd never seen before. This site is jam packed full of great inspiration, tutorials, challenges and some great people. They're even offering free digi's right now! If you have time please do check it out and become a member.
My first card was made following "Mojo Monday's" card sketch found here. Unfortunately I didn't get it posted in time for the challenge but there's always next week. I cut the card at 5 X 4 1/2, to fit a standard envelope. The paper is from the Eva Paper Pad. The butterfly was a digi freebie from "Crafters Digital Art Center" found here. I printed it out at 3 X 3, and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and glittered the edges. The ribbon is from a kit I got from Paper Makeup Stamps new card kits, you can purchase here. The fence was cut from Cricut's Potpourri Basket at 2 1/2". The sentiment is from clear dollar stamps. Hope you enjoy this. I have several other cards that I'll be posting throughout the week as well.
Thanks so much to all my followers!!
Ms. Jen
